Dennis Duck - Dennis Duck Goes Disco (1977)

Howdy, everybody! Today, we'll be looking at another LAFMS release, "Dennis Duck Goes Disco". I mentioned it briefly in my "Dinosaur with Horns" article, but I wanted to go more in depth with it. Also, its my 5th favorite album of all time, so I thought it deserved its own article. Now, lets jump into it.



In 1977, Dennis Duck (Dennis Mehaffey) and Tom Recchion made a tape together using a German record player that had speeds going from 16 to 78 RPM, They also used techniques like smashing the records. The original cassette was released in 1977, and was a limited edition of 20 copies. Thankfully, Poo - Bah records reissued it, with even more tracks that were left off the original cassette.
